Why Proper Grading Matters

Water that pools near your foundation or in low spots isn't just an annoyance — it can cause serious damage over time. Proper grading directs water away from your home and into appropriate drainage areas.

We assess the natural flow of your property and correct problem areas before they become expensive repairs. It's one of the most impactful things you can do for your property's long-term health.

Common Questions

What type of mulch do you use?

We use premium shredded hardwood mulch — it breaks down slowly, suppresses weeds effectively, and looks clean. We can also source coloured mulch if preferred.

How deep should mulch be?

2–3 inches is ideal. Too thin and it won't suppress weeds. Too thick and it can suffocate plant roots and hold excess moisture against stems.

Can you fix drainage problems in my yard?

Yes. We assess the grade and drainage patterns, then recommend the right solution — whether that's regrading, a French drain, or a simple swale.

Do you plant flowers or shrubs?

We focus on bed preparation, grading, and mulching. We'll have your beds ready for planting — you can plant yourself or work with a local nursery.
